Nông nghiệp hữu cơ (NNHC) có từ rất sớm trên thế giới nhưng phải đến cuối thế kỉ 20 mới được phát triển mạnh mẽ và trở thành xu hướng phổ biến trên toàn cầu hiện nay. Với các nguyên tắc sản xuất nghiêm ngặt và tiêu chuẩn chặt chẽ, NNHC cung cấp nông sản có chất lượng, tốt cho sức khỏe con người, hệ thống canh tác bền vững, mang lại lợi ích về kinh tế, xã hội và môi trường. Ở Việt Nam, NNHC có sự phát triển đáng kể trong 10 năm trở lại đây
đã có nhiều mô hình thành công về sản xuất và xuất khẩu nông sản hữu cơ, tuy nhiên trình độ sản xuất NNHC của Việt Nam còn thấp so với thế giới. Tỉnh Thanh Hóa có nhiều thế mạnh và cơ hội để phát triển NNHC
nhằm khuyến nghị các giải pháp phát triển NNHC ở tỉnh Thanh Hóa trong thời gian tới, bài báo nghiên cứu làm rõ những vấn đề cơ bản về NNHC, hiện trạng phát triển NNHC trên thế giới và Việt Nam, vận dụng đánh giá những thuận lợi, khó khăn, cơ hội, thách thức và các khuyến nghị, các giải pháp phát triển NNHC ở tỉnh Thanh Hóa.Organic agriculture appeared very early in the world, but until the end of the 20th century it was strongly developed and became a popular global trend today. With strict production principles and standards, organic agriculture provides quality agricultural products, being good for human health, sustainable farming systems, bringing economic, social and environmental benefits. In Vietnam, organic agriculture has grown significantly for the last 10 years
there have been many successful models of production and export of organic agricultural products
However, Vietnam's organic agricultural production level is still low compared to the world. Thanh Hoa province has many strengths and opportunities to develop organic agriculture. In order to recommend solutions to develop organic agriculture in Thanh Hoa province in the coming time, the article clarifies the basic issues of organic agriculture, the current status of organic agriculture development in the world and in Vietnam
applying and assessing the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, challenges and recommended solutions of organic agriculture development in Thanh Hoa province.
