This paper mentions the influence of some factors concluding pH

and fermentation on the growth of B. thuringiensis (Bt) via culturing environment, which is used activated sludge for brewery wastewater. Moreover, B. thuringiensis (Bt) can be grown at pH 6–8 and made the highest delta-endotoxin about 617.67 mg/l with pH7 and 20–25 g/l of sludge concentration. Furthermore, B. thuringiensis (Bt) gained the best growth, maximum cell density with 2.9×108 CFU/ml and 619.06 mg/l of delta-endotoxin concentration when it is cultured in conical flask environment with 2:10 (v/v) rate. In the culturing process, B. thuringiensis (Bt) is provided non-stop aeration because delta-endotoxin will be affected seriously in any stage if the aeration is not enough. When B. thuringiensis (Bt) is cultured in fermentating condition with pH = 7 and dissolved oxygen is 4mg/l, its toxicity is higher than as it is cultured in conical flask, and delta-endotoxin gains at 725.05 mg/l after 48h. Research results indicate that B.thuringiensis can be grown very well in activated sludge environment from beer wastewater and it has been potentiality for practical application.Trong nghiên cứu này đề cập đến ảnh hưởng của một số yếu tố (pH, nồng độ chất rắn, độ thoáng khí và lên men) lên sinh trưởng của B. thuringiensis (Bt) trong môi trường nuôi cấy sử dụng bùn hoạt tính của nhà máy bia. Vi khuẩn B. thuringiensis có khả sinh trưởng trong môi trường có độ pH từ pH 6–8 và hình thành delta–endotoxin cao nhất (617,67 mg/l) ở pH 7. Nồng độ chất rắn cho delta–endotoxin cao nhất là 20–25 g/l. Ở tỷ lệ môi trường nuôi cấy trong bình nón 2:10 (v/v) chủng B.thuringiensis sinh trưởng tốt nhất, mật độ tế bào đạt cực đại 2,9×108 CFU/ml và nồng độ delta–endotoxin đạt 619,06 mg/l. Quá trình cấp khí liên tục là cần thiết đối với B. thuringensis trong quá trình nuôi, ngưng cấp khí dù ở giai đoạn nào cũng ảnh hưởng đến delta–endotoxin của Bt. Khi nuôi cấy trong hệ lên men với điều kiện pH = 7, oxy hòa tan 4 mg/l, Bt cho độc tính cao hơn khi nuôi bình tam giác, delta–endotoxin đạt 725,05 mg/l sau 48h. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, B.thuringiensis có khả năng sinh trưởng tốt trên bùn hoạt tính từ nước thải bia và có triển vọng ứng dụng trong thực tế.
