In practising shooting AK rifles, students of Nha Trang University often make basic errors in techniques, aiming and some other errors. Therefore, their testing and evaluating results were frequently low and they often did not hit the target, which affected their learning results in the practical module. The purpose of this paper is to do a survey into the students’ errors when shooting AK submachine guns and find out how lecturers’ correcting errors could improve the students’ AK shooting skills. The subjects were 400 students majoring in hotel management and 118 students in the control class 62.QTKS-3 (61 students) and the experimental class 62.QTKS-1 (57 students). Both qualitative method (in-depth personal interviews) and quantitative methods (online survey, and comparison of shooting results) were used in this paper. The research results showed that after correcting errors, the students’ shooting performance were better and the shooting skills were increasingly improved. Lecturers of the Center for National Defense and Security Education will apply the correcting errors in training so that students can improve their study scores and skills of shooting AK rifles.Trong luyện tập bắn súng tiểu liên AK, sinh viên trường Đại học Nha Trang thường mắc các lỗi sai cơ bản về kỹ thuật, ngắm bắn và một số lỗi sai khác. Vì vậy, khi kiểm tra đánh giá kết quả sinh viên thường đạt điểm thấp và nhiều em thường không bắn trúng mục tiêu. Điều này làm ảnh hưởng đến kết quả học tập ở học phần thực hành. Mục đích của bài báo này là khảo sát các lỗi sai thường gặp khi bắn súng AK và tìm hiểu biện pháp sửa lỗi sai cải thiện kỹ năng bắn súng AK như thế nào. Đối tượng nghiên cứu là 400 sinh viên chuyên ngành quản trị khách sạn và 118 sinh viên lớp đối chứng 62.QTKS-3 (61 sinh viên) và lớp thực nghiệm 62.QTKS-1 (57 sinh viên). Bài viết sử dụng phương pháp nghiên cứu định tính (phỏng vấn sâu cá nhân) và phương pháp định lượng (khảo sát trực tuyến, và so sánh kết quả bắn súng). Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy sau khi sửa lỗi sai thành tích bắn súng của sinh viên lớp thử nghiệm ngày càng tốt hơn, và kỹ năng bắn súng tiểu liên AK ngày càng được hoàn thiện. Giảng viên trung tâm Quốc phòng sẽ áp dụng biện pháp sửa lỗi vào việc huấn luyện nhằm nâng cao thành tích học tập và kỹ năng bắn súng tiểu liên AK của sinh viên.
