This article analyzes the theoretical bases, thereby proposing ways to developVietnamese vocabulary for foreigners using mind maps and statistics of the initial surveyresults of using them to teach and establish Vietnamese vocabulary for foreigners at TheUniversity of Sciences and Education - University of Danang. Research results haveconfirmed the positive effects of using mind maps quickly, effectively, and scientificallyaccumulating words. In addition, mind maps help foreigners develop topics into a systemof ideas and organize content coherently and scientifically, create an environment topractice the use of words in the context, and improve the ability to speak and writeVietnamese for foreigners.
