One of the contemporary learning and teaching orientations in the generaleducation curriculum in 2018 is to connect math to everyday lives and focus on applyingmathematics concepts to solve real-world issues. As a result, we studied a variety of practicalproblems involving the greatest common divisor and least common multiple. Furthermore, weanalyzed typical application problems and the RSA algorithm in cryptography. In particular,we came up with real-life problems involving the greatest common divisor and least commonmultiple and implemented the RSA algorithm in Maple.
