Originating from a strong community, all members of the community have obligations and responsibilities in preserving and promoting cultural heritage values in a voluntary and self-disciplined spirit. This is reflected in the diversity of forms of practice and expression of tangible and intangible cultural heritage values created, nurtured and handed down by the community through generations. The cultural heritage of the ethnic minorities in Quang Ninh province contains a wide range of human values, reflected in friendly and harmonious behavior among people, as well as between people and the natural and social environment. However, in the process of socio-economic development, the cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in Quang Ninh province is rapidly losing due to the impact of various internal and external factors. Therefore, in this article, the authors discuss the role of the community in the process of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of ethnic minorities in Quang Ninh province over the past years.Xuất phát từ tính cộng đồng bền chặt, mọi thành viên trong cộng đồng đều có nghĩa vụ, trách nhiệm trên tinh thần tự nguyện, tự giác trong bảo tồn và phát huy các giá trị di sản văn hóa. Điều này được thể hiện qua sự đa dạng của các thực hành và biểu đạt giá trị di sản văn hóa vật thể, phi vật thể do cộng đồng sáng tạo, nuôi dưỡng và trao truyền qua nhiều thế hệ. Di sản văn hóa của cộng đồng các dân tộc thiểu số tại tỉnh Quảng Ninh chứa đựng nhiều giá trị nhân văn, thể hiện qua cách ứng xử thân thiện, hài hòa giữa con người với con người, giữa con người với môi trường tự nhiên và xã hội. Tuy nhiên, trong quá trình phát triển kinh tế - xã hội, di sản văn hóa trong cộng đồng các dân tộc thiểu số tỉnh Quảng Ninh ngày càng mai một, do tác động của nhiều yếu tố bên trong và bên ngoài. Vì vậy, trong khuôn khổ của bài viết này, tác giả bàn thảo đến vai trò của cộng đồng trong quá trình bảo tồn và phát huy giá trị di sản văn hóa các dân tộc thiểu số ở tỉnh Quảng Ninh trong thời gian qua.
