Abstract: Learning materials play an important role in organizing teaching activities and promoting interest in the learning process of high school students. The fact that teachers design teaching materials and students design learning materials is not only a way to process learning content to meet the requirements of each subject, but also an opportunity to develop skills for the learners. The article focuses on analyzing the importance of the design of learning materials which is an important component in the teaching design competencies of teachers, thereby proposing the process of designing learning materials for teaching the geography thames in grade 10 in the Geography Subject at hight school belong to General Education Program 2018.
