The article researches on the actual situation of organizing teaching activities of History and Geography by subject in primary schools in Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province. We conducted a survey for 20 teachers of History and Geography, 200 4th grade students at primary schools in Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province: Dong Son Primary School, School Binh Minh Primary School, Nam Cuong Primary School and Nam Duong Primary School. The time to conduct the survey is at the end of the second semester of the school year 2021-2022. On that basis, the article analyzes the causes of the situation and proposes some measures to improve the quality of teaching on the subject of History and Geography of grade 4 in primary schools.
