Based on inheritance and the use of teaching methods, world-class language design models are prevalent in the practice of English-speaking first-year major students, as well as their characteristics and needs. A teaching-learning orientation for freshmen has been proposed, which is the method of teaching English for first-year major students based on the subject. In this way, the process of teaching and learning English in the first year can be done in two steps: the process of acquiring reading comprehension as the starting point or the process of taking listening activities connected with communicative activity, which is cross-language activity plays role as a catalyst to support and promote the practice of other language skills.
