Chinese characters are a system of symbols to record the Chinese language.Chinese characters belong to the type of ideogramic text, each character is composed ofthree components: Sound (the sound of the word), Shape (the shape of the word) and Meaning(the meaning of the word). These three elements are interrelated to convey the completeinformation of a Chinese character. In the early days, each Chinese character correspondedto a word representing a complete concept. In modern Chinese, the number of polysyllabicwords dominates the lexical system, each Chinese character basically corresponds to aword structure element. Along with linguistic changes and developments, the constitutiveelements of Chinese characters have also altered. This transformation leads to a change inthe internal information of those characters. With the number of up to thousands of differentcharacters, Chinese characters are classified into many types according to different criteria.In this article, we conduct a study to classify Chinese characters from the perspective of therelationship among their constituent elements, thereby contributing to the research, teachingand learning of Chinese characters.Chữ Hán là một hệ thống ký hiệu dùng để ghi chép lại tiếng Trung Quốc. ChữHán thuộc loại văn tự biểu ý, mỗi chữ được cấu thành bởi ba thành tố: Âm (âm đọc của chữ),Hình (hình dạng của chữ) và Nghĩa (ý nghĩa của chữ). Ba thành tố này có mối quan hệ chặtchẽ với nhau để có thể truyền tải thông tin đầy đủ của một chữ Hán. Thuở sơ khai, mỗi chữHán tương ứng với một từ biểu thị một khái niệm hoàn chỉnh. Trong tiếng Trung Quốc hiệnđại, số từ đa âm tiết chiếm chủ đạo trong hệ thống từ vựng, mỗi chữ Hán về cơ bản lại tươngứng với một ngữ tố cấu tạo từ. Cùng với sự biến đổi và phát triển của ngôn ngữ, các thànhtố cấu thành chữ Hán cũng có sự biến đổi. Sự biến đổi này dẫn đến thay đổi thông tin nộitại của chữ Hán đó. Với số lượng lên đến hàng vạn chữ khác nhau, chữ Hán được phân làmnhiều loại theo các tiêu chí khác nhau. Ở bài viết này chúng tôi tiến hành nghiên cứu phânloại chữ Hán từ góc độ mối quan hệ giữa các thành tố cấu thành của nó.
