Pragmatic competence needs to be concerned and studied in its relationship with other components of communicative competence. Pragmatic competence also needs to be fully paid attention to in foreign language teaching. To fully develop the communicative competence of learners, it is necessary to focus on the different elements and develop or design activities in which the communication elements are related or interconnected. Many educators believe that foreign language teachers, both native and non-native teachers, rarely teach pragmatic linguistics because they are unaware of them. (Wolfson, 1981).
