Interdisciplinary integration between Geography and other sciences, including literature, is considered as one of the measures to improve teaching quality today. Therefore, the article mentions the program characteristics, the content of the natural geography section in the 12th grade Geography textbook pr and the current situation of teaching this content in high schools, thereby seeing the role of literature in general and the use of poetry and proverbs in particular for teaching Geography. On the other hand, the article also presents the method of integration as well as some notes when integrating poetry and proverbs for different purposes and stages in the process of teaching this subject.
