In order to meet the state management requirements for customs and facilitate the development of commercial activities, Vietnam Customs has reformed and innovated its post-clearance audit activities. This is one of the top priorities of the Customs sector in enhancing and improving the effectiveness of postclearance audit nationwide. It also identifies postclearance audit as one of the big pillars of modern customs management system, and encourages business voluntary compliance.Nhằm đáp ứng yêu cầu quản lý nhà nước về hải quan, đồng thời tạo thuận lợi cho hoạt động thương mại phát triển, Hải quan Việt Nam đã cải cách, đổi mới hoạt động kiểm tra sau thông quan. Đây là một trong những mục tiêu quan trọng hàng đầu của ngành Hải quan hướng tới tăng cường và nâng cao hiệu quả công tác kiểm tra sau thông quan trong toàn quốc
đồng thời xác định công tác kiểm tra sau thông quan thành một trụ cột của quản lý hải quan hiện đại, khuyến khích doanh nghiệp tự nguyện tuân thủ pháp luật.
