The article focuses on clarifying the status of active learning of students at the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University in three aspects: awareness, attitude and behavior. The expression content of the active learning of students of Thai Nguyen University of Education is from average and good. There are many factors that affect students’ active learning, including both subjective and objective factors. The factor that has the most influence on the academic performance of students at Pedagogical University - National University of Education is the factor of the faculty, followed by the factor “Student’s self-discipline, positive and proactive spirit”. The study also proposes some recommendations to improve the positive perception of students at TNUE.
