 Manufacturing low-cost equipment for training in technical disciplines in general and the metal-cutting industry, in particular, is an essential task of training institutions and schools in the context of funding sources to purchase teaching equipment. We have built a low-cost electrochemical grinder using a Diamond grinding wheel that includes an electrochemical solution water tank, solution pump, voltage transformer, body, tabletop, grinding dock, and a motor bearing the grinding wheel. The part to be sharpened is attached to the grinding dock, the length of the part is from 110mm - 140mm, and the width is 20 x 20mm. During the grinding process, the device is controlled manually and grinding is performed at voltage levels of 0V

  12V, the quality of the part surface after grinding is checked for roughness using a Japanese SJ - 201- Mitutoyo meter, and the microstructure is taken with a KIM450 measuring microscope of ARCS, Taiwan to assessment, comparison. Through the experimental results, it can be confirmed that self-made equipment is very useful for use in companies and businesses.
