Giám sát việc thực thi quyền lực nhà nước là chức năng quan trọng của Mặt trận Tổ quốc và các tổ chức chính trị - xã hội ở Việt Nam nhằm đảm bảo quyền lực nhà nước thuộc về nhân dân, bảo vệ quyền và lợi ích chính đáng của nhân dân, góp phần kiểm soát để ngăn chặn nguy cơ tha hóa quyền lực nhà nước. Qua tư liệu thu thập được (2013 - 2018), bài viết làm rõ hoạt động giám sát của Mặt trận Tổ quốc và các tổ chức chính trị - xã hội đã phát huy tác dụng trên thực tế, góp phần đảm bảo hoạt động thực thi quyền lực nhà nước được tiến hành đúng mục đích và có hiệu quả trong thời gian qua. Tuy nhiên bên cạnh đó, vẫn còn có nhiều hạn chế, yếu kém cần phải khắc phục để nâng cao hiệu quả giám sát của các tổ chức này, đặc biệt trong điều kiện đẩy mạnh xây dựng nhà nước pháp quyền xã hội chủ nghĩa ở nước ta hiện nay. In fact, Vietnam Fatherland Front and Socio-political organizations have indicated positive consequences in terms of their monitoring role in the reality. As a result, the employment of government’s power has been conducted appropriately as being previously proposed. On top of that, a lot of drawbacks remain challenging which are required to be dealt with so as to improve the effect of Vietnam Fatherland Front and Socio-political organizations’ monitoring efforts, especially during the emerging process of socialization in Vietnam today.
