Although Vietnam has abundant human resources, the quality of human resources is not high, which is most evident in the occupational skill level of workers. Therefore, in order to find a solution for the development of state skills, the assessment of the current situation and proposals for solutions to improve mechanisms and policies for the development of state skills of Vietnamese human resources in order to improve the national competitiveness in the region. integration is essential.Mặc dù Việt Nam có nguồn nhân lực khá dồi dào nhưng chất lượng nguồn nhân lực chưa cao, biểu hiện rõ nét nhất ở trình độ kỹ năng nghề nghiệp của người lao động. Kỹ năng nghề của người lao động nói riêng đang còn là “điểm nghẽn” cản trở sự phát triển, giảm sút năng lực cạnh canh của quốc gia. Vấn đề này đang trở thành thách thức lớn, đòi hỏi cần phải tập trung giải quyết trong thời gian tới. Do vậy, để tìm lời giải cho việc phát triển kỹ năng nghề nghiệp việc đánh giá thực trạng và đề xuất giải pháp hoàn thiện cơ chế, chính sách cho phát triển kỹ năng nghề nghiệp của nguồn nhân lực Việt Nam nhằm nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh quốc gia trong bối cảnh hội nhập là điều hết sức cần thiết.
