Hoạt động nghiên cứu khoa học của sinh viên trong các trường đại học có ý nghĩa hết sức quan trọng, tuy nhiên, tại trường Đại học Khoa học - Đại học Thái Nguyên, do tác động của nhiều yếu tố nên hoạt động nghiên cứu khoa học của sinh viên còn nhiều hạn chế. Vì vậy việc làm thế nào để phát huy các yếu tố tạo động lực nghiên cứu khoa học cho sinh viên nhằm thúc đẩy phong trào nghiên cứu khoa học trong sinh viên là một trong những hoạt động cần được quan tâm hàng đầu đối với trường Đại học Khoa học. Qua việc sử dụng các phương pháp thu thập, xử lý thông tin, số liệu
điều tra bằng bảng hỏi, phỏng vấn sâu, quan sát…, bài viết làm rõ kết quả nghiên cứu về thực trạng các yếu tố tạo động lực nghiên cứu khoa học từ nhận thức của sinh viên, năng lực của giảng viên, chính sách của nhà trường, cơ sở vật chất, đến sự tham gia của các địa bàn nghiên cứu. Nghiên cứu cũng đưa ra các biện pháp nhằm phát huy các yếu tố tạo động lực nghiên cứu khoa học cho sinh viên trường Đại học Khoa học. Vì vậy, bài viết có ý nghĩa thực tiễn đối với sinh viên, trường Đại học Khoa học và là tài liệu tham khảo hữu ích cho những người quan tâm.Scientific research activities of students in universities are extremely important.
