Martial Arts of People’s Security is a general martial art with specific characteristics and exclusively for the armed forces of Vietnam. Basic technique related to hand muscle strength is one of the important factors to evaluate the effectiveness of actual practice. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationships of muscle strength factors between 2 groups of subjects with and without practicing People’s Security Martial Arts at People’s Police College 1. Results of Research is used to refine current curricula. The obtained results showed that there was no significant difference between the groups in terms of flexion or extension at angles of 600/s (p=0.2–0.99) and 1200/s (p=0.05–0.96), and also no change in the overall value of the comparison variables between muscle strength and other dependent variables (r=0.01–0.39) was observed.
