People’s Police Martial Arts is a martial arts created according to the characteristics and suitable for security activities in Vietnam. There are very little data related to trauma when studying and practicing people’s security martial arts. The study conducted a survey with students studying the People’s Public Security subjects related to demographic issues, injuries in competition and/or exercise, treatment methods received and whether the participants have weight. The results were shown that the very high rate of injury among the students studying martial arts of the People’s Public Security, with 9 out of 10 students who had at least 1 injury, usually during practice. The main injury is sprains and muscle tension in the finger, upper limb and neck. Students must be notified of significant injuries and are guided on appropriate preventive measures and safety procedures.
