Currently, community tourism is considered to bring many sustainable economic development benefits to local people. Quang Ninh has a lot of potential in terms of the natural landscape, historical values, indigenous culture of ethnic groups, customs and lifestyles, and rich culinary culture of the regions which are the basis for strong development type of community tourism. In the face of increasing climate change, which directly threatens people's livelihoods, the direction of transforming the economic development model towards green growth is receiving attention from many localities. Therefore, the development of community tourism following this trend is no exception from the lessons learned from Quang Ninh.Hiện nay, loại hình du lịch cộng đồng được xem là mang lại nhiều lợi ích phát triển kinh tế bền vững cho người dân địa phương. Quảng Ninh có nhiều tiềm năng về cảnh quan thiên nhiên, giá trị lịch sử, văn hóa bản địa của các dân tộc, tập tục và lối sống, văn hóa ẩm thực phong phú của các vùng miền là cơ sở để phát triển mạnh loại hình du lịch cộng đồng. Trước tình hình biến đổi khí hậu ngày càng gia tăng đe dọa trực tiếp đến sinh kế của người dân, định hướng chuyển đổi mô hình phát triển kinh tế theo hướng tăng trưởng xanh đang được nhiều địa phương quan tâm. Do đó, việc phát triển du lịch cộng đồng theo xu hướng này cũng không phải là ngoại lệ từ bài học kinh nghiệm của Quảng Ninh.
