Purpose: This study aims to build and assess the result of the implementation in process of non- Mechanical Bowel Preparation (MBP) for patients undergoing laparoscopic elective colorectal surgery for cancer at General Surgery Department in International Medical Centre of Hue Centre Hospital. Methods: 41 colorectal cancer patients underwent laparoscopic elective surgery from 01/2019 to03/2020. To observe the performance of preoperative preparation process for patients undergoing electivesurgery and assess the effective of treatment, the complication rate such as anastomotic leak, woundinfection and intra-abdominal abscess. Patients were followed up for 30 days after operation.Results: 100% patients compied process, the complication rate of anastomotic leak 0%
wound infectionoccupied 14,6% including 6 patients
intra-abdominal abscess occupied 2,4% including 1 patient
earlypostoperative adhesive small bowel obstruction 0%.Conclusion: Non - Mechanical Bowel Preparation (MBP) reduces amount of work for nurses, creates agood spirit for patient before operation and doesn’t increase the complication rate.
