 Background: Pregnancy is a period in which pregnant women face various risks that can affect physical and mental health as well as the quality of life (QOL) of pregnant women and a fetus’s health. Identifying the quality of life and related factors will contribute to providing useful information, orienting for appropriate nursing interventions to improve the quality of life of pregnant women, promote maternal and fetus health. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to directly interview 104 pregnant women, who were examined at the Obstetric & Gynecology Department, Hue University of Medicine & Pharmacy Hospital, applied convenience sampling. The WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire of WHO was used for data collection in this study, after adjustment to suit the conditions in Vietnam. The WHOQOL-BREF contains a total of 26 questions divided into 4 domains: Physical health, Psychological, Social relationships, Environment. The SPSS 20.0 software was used to analyze data.Result: The average score of QOL of the pregnant woman was 58.63 ± 10.02
  in which physical health domain has the highest score (60.69 ± 14.66) and psychological domain has the lowest rated (56.76 ±12.50). The study found a statistically significant relationship between the QOL and these following factors: educational background of pregnant women (p <

  economic conditions (p <

  living area (p = 0.03)
  husband’s education level (p = 0.001)
  husband’s occupation (p<
 0.001)
  number of pregnancies (p <

  baby’s gender satisfaction (p = 0,046)
  maternal stress (p = 0.004).Conclusion: QOL of pregnant women was examined at HUMP Hospital is average. Identify and improve health-related factors affect the quality of life is a solution to improve the QOL of pregnant women.
