Background: The quality of nursing and midwifery care is an important part of the overall quality ofhealth care. If nurses and midwives perform well the care, it will contribute to make patients feel secure,trust, cooperate, increase treatment efficiemcy and patient’s satisfaction rate.Objective: To assess the patient’s satisfaction with nursing care provided by clinical departments in HueUniversity of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in 2019.Subject and method: A cross-sectional study was carried out on 600 inpatients at 9 clinical departmentswith the designed questionnaires. Result: The general proportion of patient statisfaction was 83,5%. Patients were satisfied more withmental health care services (87,9%), nursing care skills (84,3%) and the relationship between patientsand nurses (80,7%), consulting health education services (85,9%). Patient were less satisfied with hospitalhygiene (72,4%).Conclusion: Overall, more patients show enthusiasm with the medical care provided by nurse (83,5%).However, the patient’s satisfaction with hospital hygiene stood at only 72,4%.
