The issue of agriculture, farmers and rural areas is an important issue that is closely related to the process of reform and opening for international integration. Agriculture plays an important role in the economy as it provides food for people and raw materials for manufacturing industry. The study uses a synthesis of literature review and secondary data statistics to provide theoretical foundations and agro-economic realities based on the following aspects: economic growth, production scale, quality and economic structure. The results show that theagricultural growth rate tends to increase, the agricultural economic restructuring has achieved positive results
besides, the agricultural economy of Vinh Long province still has some limitations such as climate change, fragmented production, etc. At the same time, the author also proposes some solutions to develop the agricultural economy in the world. Vinh Long province soon.
