The CDIO initiative is a large international project to reform university technical training programs, helping to narrow the gap between training institutions and the labor market, ensuring learners' comprehensive development of knowledge, professional skills and qualities, adapting well to a professional and ever-changing working environment. Many universities around the world and in Vietnam have applied the CDIO approach to improve training programs. The article introduces the results of research on applying the CDIO approach in teaching general subjects at Vinh University of Technology Education: providing a process for designing and organizing teaching according to the flipped classroom model.
