Applying knowledge of Mathematics in general and Calculus in particular to study specialized subjects and future careers is one of the important tasks of students at Vietnam Maritime University. To help students perform that task well, the first factor to mention is that the content of the Calculus curriculum must be oriented towards experiential teaching. Therefore, within the framework of this article, we will outline the practice of the Calculus program at Vietnam Maritime University in the direction of experiential teaching and propose some measures to improve the quality of program content in this direction.
