Project-based teaching is one of the active teaching methods, meeting today’s educational innovation requirements. The paper presents a number of issues on project-based teaching and project-based teaching of the module “ Hygiene and disease prevention for preschool children” in teaching for students in maijoring in early childhood education of Vinh university. With features such as practical orientation, product orientation, professional competency development orientation, project-based teaching has created excitement for learners through practical situations, helping learners to develop self-awareness, self-reliance, sense of responsibility, practice soft skills.
