tiếng anh Objective: evaluating the result of hepatic trauma treatment by operating and nonoperating. Patients and methods: a retrospective and prospective study, include 54 patients were treated at surgery department of Lam Dong general hospital from 1/2008-4/2001. Results: There are 50 males and 4 females, age range from 3 to 54 years old, with mean age was 29.63. The mean period of hospitalization was 9.56 days. Among them 37 cases were operated and 17 cases were treated nonoperatively. Good in 51 cases, 1 case was transfered to Choray hospital, operative mortality was 2 cases. Conclusion: The hepatic trauma is a surgical emergency situation of the abdomen, following up, initial evaluation and management must be early, prompt for penetrating trauma or blunt trauma and proper choice of surgical treament have led to increased survival rates.
