This article uses the comparison and comparison method, the author bases it on the dictionary software “JUZI Hanyu” (2022) edited by Yang YuLinh (Duong Ngoc Linh) and “Vietnamese Dictionary”(2020) edited by Hoang Phe The editor compares and analyzes the verb “zuo/ làm” in Chinese and Vietnamese. After comparing and analyzing, we discovered that the verb “zuo/ làm” in these two languages has 06 similar meanings, the Chinese verb “zuo” has 01 characteristic meaning that in Vietnamese no, the Vietnamese verb “làm” has 05 specific meanings that do not have in Chinese, and at the same time these two verbs have 01 common meaning but are not completely the same. The main reason for the existence of differences in the verb “zuo/ làm” in the two languages is because the two languages have different historical and cultural contexts and the language perception methods of the two peoples. different clans. Because of the above reasons, Vietnamese learners often make mistakes when acquiring the Chinese verb “zuo”during the process of learning and using them. Through comparison and analysis, in this article we offer some teaching suggestions for Vietnamese Chinese teachers when teaching the meaning of these two verbs “zuo”and “làm”.
