In the Department of Literature, Faculty of Education, An Giang University, most lecturers are aware of the importance of problem-solving ability but have not focused on developing this ability in students. Most students do not understand the nature and role of problem-solving ability, so they do not pay attention to developing this ability
That leads to students’ confusion and passivity when facing problems in learning and practical activities. The article addresses the issue of teaching in the direction of developing problem-solving capacity for students majoring in Literature Education. In it, the writer mentions the nature, steps and teaching directions towards developing the ability to detect and solve problems. This teaching activity helps Literature Education students develop thinking to solve problems in future learning and teaching as well as problems in life.
