Chương trình GDPT 2018 với mục đích đổi mới căn bản toàn diện nền giáo dục Việt Nam nhằm đáp ứng yêu cầu công nghiệp hoá, hiện đại hoá trong điều kiện nền kinh tế thị trường định hướng xã hội chủ nghĩa, theo đó giáo dục con người mới phát triển toàn diện hài hoà cả về đức trí thể mỹ. Trên tinh thần đó, môn học âm nhạc lần đầu tiên được đưa vào giảng dạy xuyên suốt từ Tiểu học cho đến ở bậc THPT, và có thể được chú trọng cả từ bậc học mầm non. Đây là một thay đổi có tính đột phá quan trọng, nhưng đồng thời cũng tạo ra thách thức lớn cho ngành giáo dục ở địa phương An Giang cũng như cả nước đó là꞉ Đội ngũ giáo viên thực hiện chương trình này.General education program 2018 to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate Vietnam's education system to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist‑oriented market economy, thereby educating children. New people develop comprehensively and harmoniously, both intellectually and physically. In that spirit, the subject of music is for the first time taught throughout elementary school to high school, and can be emphasized even from preschool level. This is important breakthrough change, but at the same time it also creates a big challenge for education sector in An Giang locality as well as the whole country꞉ The team of teacher implementing this program.
