Research and application of a number of exercises to develop speed in the 60m distance for male students at Ho Chi Minh City Banking University Semester I of 2023-2024. The study conducted Intervention and Experiment with comparison before and after and with control. The results were 14/18 exercises to develop the speed of the group of students participating in the study. After 01 semester of applying the exercises, the experimental group of male students developed their speed with a 60m distance performance reduced to 9.1s compared to the initial performance of 9.28s, with t being between the experimental group and the control is t =2.03>

0.05, statistically significant. In addition, the experimental group also improved their performance in athletics, the failure rate in the 60m content was 6.86% compared to the control group’s failure rate of 15.4%. Therefore, we confirm that the exercises included in training to develop physical strength have had clear effects and application effects.
