Increasing children’s access to nature, immerse themselves in the natural environment for fun and learning, teaching children how to learn and creatively use natural materials in general educational activities as well as shaping activities in particular is a reasonable approach toward “Education for sustainable development” that UNESCO has been calling for. Knowledge of nature as well as love for nature are also the conditions that acitivate children’s observational minds, thereby enriching their symbolic capital and creating creative ideas in their creative activities. Therefore, it can be affirmed that using natural materials in organizing shaping activities will create an extremely favorable educational environment to train and develop observation skills as well as creativity for children.
