Nghiên cứu đã tiến hành thực nghiệm sấy rễ đinh lăng thái lát. sấy bơm nhiệt và sấy bơm nhiệt kết hợp hồng ngoại tại 3 mức nhiệt độ sấy 40, 45 và 50°C đã được thực hiện nhằm xác định phương pháp sấy hợp lý cho rễ đinh lăng thái lát. Tiêu chí đánh giá là tốc độ sấy, màu sắc, hàm lượng saponin của rễ đinh lăng sau khi sấy. Kết quả đã xác định được phương pháp sấy bơm nhiệt kết hợp hồng ngoại là phù hợp để sấy rễ đinh lăng thái lát với nhiệt độ sấy 45°c, vận tốc tác nhân sấy 0,8 ±0,1 m/s. Tại chế độ sấy này, tiến hành sấy với các mức cường độ hồng ngoại khác nhau đã xác định cường độ hồng ngoại phù hợp là 600 w/m2, thời gian sấy 4 giờ, tốc độ giảm ẩm trung bình trong quá trình sấy là 17,55%/h, độ lệch màu là 25,89, hàm lượng saponin là 1,9%. Heat pump drying and infrared radiation assisted heat pump dryer method at three drying temperatures levels of 40, 45 and 50°C were carried in order to determine the appropriate drying method for sliced polyscias fruhcosa roots. The evaluation criterion is the drying rate, color, saponin content of dried polyscias fruticosa roots. The results have determined that infrared radiation assisted heat pump dryingmethod is suitable for drying of sliced polyscias fruticosa roots with drying temperature of 45"C, drying air velocity of 0.8 ± 0.1 m/s. In this drying regime, the drying experiments with four levels of infrared intensity have determined the appropriate infrared intensity is 600 w/m2, drying time is 4 hours, the average drying rate is 17.55%/h, the color deviation is 25.89 and the saponin content of dried polyscias fruticosa roots is 1.9%. The moisture content of polyscias fruticosa roots after drying is 12%, the quality of polyscias fruticosa root after drying meet the standard of TCVN 1-4: 2017.
