These tourism areas could provide various types of tourism, meet various needs of tourists, and receive large numbers of tourists. However, tourism potentials of the Red River delta and northeast coastal region are still not highly developed. The paper assessed the current situation of tourism of the Red River delta and northeast coastal region and proposed some solutions to develop tourism in these regions.
