The characteristics of the narrator's discourse through the short stories of Tran Bao Dinh were summarized in this article. The narrative, descriptive, and commentary components in the narrator's discourse were identified and analyzed and evaluated through specific compositions. From there, it is possible to point out the unique features of Tran Bao Dinh's narrative style
