In teaching and learning foreign languages, it is extremely important for students to regularly interact with native speakers. During conversation classes with role-playing activities in the second year, Japanese assistant teachers will directly participate in role-playing conversations with students to complete situational talks. Within the framework of the article, with the purpose of investigating the effectiveness of this teaching model, the author surveyed students of two second-year classes after one semester of application. The survey results show that students are very satisfied with the form of conversation with Japanese tutors and wish to continue it in the next semester because this activity brings students a lot of progress. in Japanese communication as well as in learning Japanese.
