Along with teaching and scientific research activities, community service activities are one of the main tasks of the university, contributing to the school’s reputation. Raising students’ awareness and contributions in community connection and service activities plays an extremely important role. This article evaluated the current status of community connection and service activities at Can Tho University of Technology (CTUT) through analyzing feedback from students, as well as favorable and difficult characteristics. Based on this, practical solutions were proposed by the research team to improve the effectiveness of CTUT students’ connection and community service activities in the future.
