With the development of information technology, the use of digital tools in teaching and learning English to help learners improve their language proficiency is an important issue of concern to both learners and teachers. In particular, during writing lessons, teachers increasingly pay attention to how to make students interested in writing lessons. In the academic context of higher education, creating an interactive learning environment during writing classes is extremely necessary. The introduction of Padlet as a learning tool has significantly changed the atmosphere in foreign language classrooms. In this study, Padlet was used as a tool for teaching and learning writing skills of first-year English majors at Phenikaa University. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of using Padlet in teaching and learning English writing and learners' perceptions of Padlet use.
