Today, the teaching method of mathematics of some lecturers has reduced excitement, passion for exploring and discovering, creativity in the students. Lecturers are required not only to teach knowledge to their students, but also pay attention to training their creative thinking. Many lecturers think that learning math is to have the knowledge of mathematics applied in everyday life and to study other subjects, especially natural sciences and engineering. In the new age, education and training require high demands on the training of intelligence, creativity, adaptability to the rapid changes of society. This article presents some demonstrations of creative thinking of students through teaching geometry exercises at the University of Mining and Geology.
