Dung lượng cực ngắn khiến thể loại này rất hàm súc, kích thước nhỏ phù hợp với việc xuất bản trên mạng Internet và tiết kiệm chi phí in ấn, đồng thời đáp ứng tốt nhu cầu giải trí "tốc độ" của con người thời đại công nghiệp. Để làm giàu thêm khả năng biểu đạt, truyện cực ngắn đã giao thoa, dung hợp trong nó đặc điểm của các thể loại khác mà nổi bật là đặc điểm của thơ trữ tình., Tóm tắt tiếng anh, In contemporary Vietnamese literature, the very short story is a growing genre which attracts the attention of readers. Its extreme short form makes this genre concise, and its small size is suitable for publishing on the Internet and saving printing costs as well as meets the "speed" entertainment needs of modern industry. In order to enrich the expressive ability, the very short story has interfered with and fused itself with the characteristics of other genres, especially the characteristics of lyrical poetry.
