Abstract: In the modern era, business management places a high priority on human resource management, understanding that the success or failure of a company largely depends on the quality of human resource management. Therefore, keeping employees satisfied and retaining them within the company is one of the top goals of human resource management in today’s businesses. The article “The Relationship between Employee Satisfaction and Loyalty in Business” is conducted to highlight the importance of researching employee satisfaction and the relationship between employee satisfaction and loyalty in business. The article is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the issue of the workforce and the current status of employee satisfaction in Vietnam. The second part synthesizes definitions of employee satisfaction and loyalty, emphasizing their importance in researching employee satisfaction and the relationship between employee satisfaction and loyalty in business. The third part concludes the article, discussing the research on employee satisfaction in the workplace and, importantly, its role as a precursor to employee loyalty. Therefore, managers need to focus on improving employee satisfaction to retain skilled employees and contribute to the steady development of the company.
