n kinh., To m ta t tie ng anh, To describe some clinical features of herpes zoster to help early diagnosis, treatment and control of complications of the disease. Methods and subjects: A cross-sectional descriptive study of clinical features in 104 patients with herpes zoster who were treated at the Department of Allergy, Immunology and Dermatology - E Hospital from 8/2021 to 8/2022. Results and conclusions: the main symptoms of prodromal symptoms are pain, burning and jerking at the site of injury, the most common primary lesion is skin inflammatory rash (100%), followed by vesicular rash (93,3%)
the most common location is intercostal space (28.8%), followed by genital area, lower extremities (26.9%). 61.5% lesions on the right side of the body
common pain in shingles is pain (89.4%), burning(60.6%), jerking (70.2%)
41.3% of patients had severe pain, 41.3% of patients with moderate pain and 17.3% of patients with mild pain
76% of patients had insomnia, 6.7% of patients had fever, 34.6% of patients had peripheral lymph nodes and 4.8% of patients had nerve damage.
