i ho#c., To m ta t tie ng anh, According to the 2018 Mathematics General Education Program, modeling competence is one of the specific competencies to develop for students in teaching Mathematics from primary to high school. When solving modeling exercises, students can develop the component competencies of modeling competence. This study clarifies the concept and levels of modeling exercises, thereby proposing the process of designing modeling exercises in teaching Mathematics in primary schools and illustrating the application of this process to design modeling exercises in teaching Mathematics 5. The proposed process aims to help primary teachers have more tools to design and exploit modeling exercises, contributing to improving Mathematics teaching effectiveness towards learners' capacity development.
