Bài viết miêu tả, nhận xét một số miền nguồn phổ biến trong diễn ngôn chính trị của Mỹ, nhằm làm rõ vai trò của miền nguồn trong việc chi phối cách thức phạm trù hóa và ý niệm hóa thông qua các ẩn dụ ý niệm. Kết quả khảo sát 257 ẩn dụ trong 57 diễn ngôn chính trị của Mỹ cho thấy miền nguồn động thực vật có nhiều biểu thức ẩn dụ nhất, kế đến là các miền nguồn máy móc, thể thao, thời tiết và sức khỏe., Tóm tắt tiếng anh, The article describes and comments on some common source domains in American political discourse in order to clarify the role of source domains in controlling the way of categorization and conceptualization through conceptual metaphors. Survey results of 257 metaphors in 57 American political discourses show that the source domain of animals and plants has the most metaphorical expressions, followed by the source domains of machines, sports, weather and health respectively.
