Using combined chromatographic methods, three flavonoids, 2S)-7,4'-dihydroxy-5-methoxyflavanone (1), luteolin (2), and 2O-rhamnosylvitexin (3) wereisolated from the methanol extract of the leaves of Vitex trifolia. Their structureswere established on the basis of spectroscopic evidence and comparison with thosereported in the literature.
