The current practice of teaching and learning the subject National Defense and Security Education at school shows that there are still many limitations and inadequacies expressed in the results of mastering knowledge, skills, and techniques for defense and security activities. Students’ security after the practical learning process of the National Defense and Security Education subject is still not high. This shows that, in order to improve students’ practical capacity in defense and security work after completing the program, the Department of Physical Education and Military Affairs of Ha Long University needs to focus on improving the quality of teaching. practice the subject National Defense and Security Education for students during the training process.
