Hoạt động giám sát và phản biện xã hội (GSPBXH) của Mặt trận Tổ quốc (MTTQ) Việt Nam trong điều kiện hiện nay là hết sức cần thiết nhằm nâng cao dân chủ, góp phần xây dựng xã hội dân chủ, phát triển. Đảng và Nhà nước ta đang nỗ lực thực hiện đổi mới về tư duy, hành động, tổ chức trên mọi lĩnh vực của đời sống xã hội. Những hoạt động ấy đòi hỏi cần phải có sự giám sát, phản biện từ xã hội và nhân dân, mà đại diện là MTTQ Việt Nam. Bài viết tập trung nêu rõ thực trạng và đề xuất một số giải pháp tiếp tục nâng cao chất lượng và hiệu quả công tác GSPBXH của MTTQ Việt Nam., Tóm tắt tiếng anh, In the current conditions, social criticism and oversight of the Vietnam Fatherland Front are necessary activities in order to promote democracy in Vietnam, contributing to the development of a democratic and developed society. The Communist Party of Vietnam and the Government of Vietnam are making efforts to have innovative thinking, action and organization in all areas of social life. It is essential to have social criticism and oversight over these activities from Vietnamese people and society represented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front. This paper clarifies the current social criticism and oversight of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, thereby proposing some solutions to enhance the quality and the effectiveness of these works.
