Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện để tìm hiểu nhu cầu và các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến nhu cầu học tiếng Trung của sinh viên tại trường Đại học Đồng Tháp. Sau khi chọn lọc thang đo từ các tài liệu tham khảo, chung tôi tiến hành thảo luận 02 nhóm mục tiêu để điều chỉnh thang đo., Tóm tắt tiếng anh, This study aims to understand the need to learn Chinese and the factors affecting the need to learn Chinese of students at Dong Thap University. After selecting the scale from references, 02 target groups (totally 20 students) were discussed to adjust the scale. In addition, 450 students wishing to study Chinese at Dong Thap University were surveyed to serve the official research phase. Collected data were processed by SPSS software through Cronbach's alpha, EFA and multiple regression analysis. Research results show that students' need to learn Chinese was quite high and there were 2 factors affecting the need to learn Chinese of students at Dong Thap University, including (1) conditions for increasing Chinese level, (2) learning environment and materials. Specifically, the condition for increasing Chinese language level had the strongest influence on students' need to learn Chinese and these factors had a positive relationship with the need to learn Chinese of students at Dong Thap University.
